My AES17 dryer leaves black marks on the clothes

My AES17 dryer leaves black marks on the clothes off of the rubber gasket at the rear of the drum, inside the dryer. It is the only place black marks could be coming from, and the marks look just like something black was rubbing against the fabric. I thought it was my washer, I put pillows in my dryer on hot for and hour to kill whatever, now they have the black marks all over them.
This has been going on for a while now. It usually happens to my sheets, and a few whites. I don't put most of my clothes in the dryer.
GE up right lg. capacity 5 years old.
I wish I knew if this was fixable? If anyone has a clue?
