The remote control can be easily interfered with if there are other devices running, ie baby monitors, remote-control toys, even a microwave oven. Try again after turning these types of things off.

I just moved into a house with a Gaggenau EB 846-6. Light and fan work. Heating element doesn't seem to work in top or bottom 'socket'. Also, neither heating indicator light illuminates

since neither light is going on, then i believe that you either have a bad thermostat, or possibly that you only have half of the voltage going to it, and gaggenau doesn't have gas units so it doesn't have a glow bar like the previous guy said.

The battery is fully charged lights and sound work but no motor function

typically the lights and sound run off of a different battery source, i would start out by testing the battery and charger with a voltmeter and make sure that they are putting out the correct voltage

Train won't move. The sounds work great, and it used to move, but now it doesn't.

the sound runs from a different battery source, you'll need to remove the screw on the fron t of the seat and then lift the seat up and charge the battery with the supplied charger
