Skim milk has little to no fat, therefore it will not thicken when whipping. If you want to whip it, I suggest you dissolve a packet of unflavored gelatin in 1/4 oz skim milk, microwave it for about 30 seconds until the gelatin is dissolved, and add 2-3/4 cups cold skim milk. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until the consistency of egg whites, then try whipping it. Good luck!
No reset button, unplug it, remove the base and check the motor for continuity. If motor is open circuit check the individual field windings, there is a fuse on one if them under the insulation under the one with the metal clip around it. You can replace the fuse or bypass it. It is tricky and not for someone with no electrical clues.
Check under the back of the fridge to see if it is a fan forced condensor it will be beside the compressor,If so check and see that it is running free also check for any buikd-up of dust in the condensor. If all is well and still not working properly it would be a defrosting problem,eg check to see if defrost timer is working by turning it slowly untill it click,s and wait for 25 to 40 minutes,If that is OK then check the heating element in freeze area behind the panel.Hope this helps
