My ge cafe gas oven light won't turn off

The switch which activates your light probably is stuck/broken in the on position. It should be similar to a refrigerator where you can see a small rod sticking out,or something that sticks out of the completely flat front of your oven with the door open.Sometimes there is an access panel, sometimes the whole panel comes off.The screws should be noticeable, almost flush on the front.Sometimes they are covered with a cap for appealing looks. Those just pry or unscrew off.
You will have to order the part.Even if it is expensive, there probably is a $50 minimum for a repair center just to show up.Then labor,20% minimum parts price markup also.Greg Pull the circuit breaker before messing with any wires.

How do you fit a new clock assembly board to a Stove 720EF?

I haven't done it, but I would imagine you would have to remove the entire oven from its housing to take the top off and then remove the front glass front control panel. ( The glass panel can be removed without taking the oven out).
The buttons on this panel are all push on/off. There are two screws located on the lower edge of the panel at either end of the panel. They point upwards. Once these screws are removed, the panel will be loose, but held in place with (3) lugs on the inside of the upper edge of the panel. Basically you have to jiggle the panel around, moving the lower edge out to overcome the lugs. Once the panel is off you will see the inner workings of the oven.

Frigidaire electric range have top burners and broiler working, oven only warms with element not glowing red - like others

I had the same problem about the same time. I had someone come out and it was the control mechanism. It was replaced this past week. I picked up the part at Sears online. Here's the URL for the part. I watched the guy put it in and it was relatively easy. Just take the knobs off of the front, you'll see some plastic nuts around the stems, loosen and take of the 4 of them and the panel should come out. You'll see the old piece, then just move the wires from the old to the new. Reverse the process. Good luck.

Take off the front to get at the panel

Hi, UNPLUG the range! There are two screws under the front corners of the control panel. once these are removed, the panel should raise up and lift off.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

the bottom panel comes out of the oven. you will need to take out and either replace it or clean it.
When you open the oven door there should be 2 screws at the front of the panel. take those out and lift the front up and pull your direction. the panel should come out

Gaggenau Ed 220/221 Error Code F 70

I had the same fault F70. Poured several liters boiling water no result. I decided to take the oven out the kitchen and put on the table. Be carefull, its edges are sharp. You need to disconnect water supply, first close the tap, then remove the water pipe from the oven by hand. Remove also the drain pipe from the sewage connection. You cannot detach it from the oven. Unplug power supply. Then start unscrewing the top panel. Once removed you can unscrew also the side panel left side (by looking at the oven from the front door side) and finally remove the back panel. You will need a special screw driver as the screws are star type.
I found out that there was some little water on the bottom panel of the oven. There is a safety sensor which is in contact with the bottom panel on the left side of the oven near the electronic board.
If this get wet, the faul code F70 appears.
Also some water was in the hole of the level sensor in the pump chamber next to the other sensor (white plastic box)
So dry all the water with the help of kitchen paper and finally with hair dryer.
Put back all teh parts and voila', it works again.

Creda reflection cooker

There's a florescent tube which runs along the top inside the front panel. You have to take a fair number of screws out to get to it as I remember!

Electrolux Oven EOG9330

Hope this helps (technique used on EOG9330XN):
1) With the door open, on each hinge, there is a top cover which lies flush with the hinge. Simply swing this cover up and back towards you. This unlocks the hinge. Undo both and carefully close the door, holding it at the bottom. The door should be able to be pulled away from the frame now. Lay the door on a flat surface.
2) The oven will normally be attached to the surrounding built-in cupbpard. If so, unscrew all attachment screws (mine had at least three per side) and pull the whole oven out about seven inches, supporting if neccessary. Each side panel has a locating screw in bottom front corner, so remove the screw. Peel back the side panel (only thin alloy, but watch for sharp edges) sufficiently to see.....
3) The two side securing screws for the door hinge receiver should be visible. After pulling receiver forward, if loose, tighten securing screws (use lock washers if available, as Electrolux don't provide them).
4) Reverse the procedure to finish job, fitting the door in the near vertical position to engage hinges in the receivers. Support the door, lower to open position and flip the locking hinge covers back.
[This technique works if the hinges aren't worn and if the door doesn't close properly, it usually means that the receivers are loose and have been pushed back into the oven frame].
