I would'nt recommend taking the back off unless you know something about electric's.
But if you do then go carefull & unplug the unit first then at a safe distance plug it back in & see if the motor has just come loose, the mount's might be loose or need replacing, but usually the motor bearing's are gone, if it make's a lot of noise & doe's not shake about then it is a job for a professional refrigeration engineer as the gas has to be properly disposed of and re-primed, it's not something I even attempt, as there are guide-lines, safety issue's & specialised equipment needed for refrigeration engineering, I'm thinking of going to college for a few year's to take the course myself, to put it in another way!
Anyway I hope this help's, taking a panel of is just about O.K but don't mess with any pipe's just get a visual in case any pipe's are being shaken to bursting limit & you never know it might just be something loose banging away.
