Connect laptop to the router with cable, click on LAN, support, details (on Windows XP) and see what is the address of the gateway. Enter that in URL field and you will get login screen. If not, try to reset router holding reset button for 20 seconds.

SOURCE: I tried to connect Netgear Wireless Router

Try connecting a cable directly from your router to your laptop and using the actual IP address of your router instead of routerlogin.com, being a Netgear it should be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
Hope this helps.

This is an incorrect address. Please try http://www.routerlogin.com/basicsetting.htm
This will log you to the basic setting page of the router. Just click apply and enter the username and password of the router.

Where do i find the passward on router

Most of the NETGEAR devices, except ReadyNAS products and Fully Managed switches, have the following default username and password:
  • Username = admin
  • Password = password
    • For older devices, password = 1234
To login to your NETGEAR router administration interface, open the following URL using your web browser -
http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com

Note: The actual URL changes by the product model.
You can sometimes find the login URL and default login information on a sticker on the bottom or back of the router.

Forgot username & password for netrouter wgr614v7

How do I log into my router?
To log into a NETGEAR router:
  1. In your Web browser, navigate to the router login page. By default, one or all of the following URLs should work:
    • http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com
    • http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1
Note: You can sometimes find the login URL on a sticker on the bottom or back of the router.

  2. Enter the username (admin) and the password.
    • The default password is password, or for older routers, 1234.
    • If you have already changed the default password, use the password you assigned the router. Passwords are case sensitive.
    • If you have already changed the password and do not remember it, you have to reset the router to factory defaults in order to use the default password. Resetting a router to factory defaults erases all changes you have made to the router's configuration files.

Good luck. Remember to rate my answer please.

Try www.routerlogin.net www.routerlogin.com or http://www.192.168.1.1 instead.
the default username is "admin" and the default password is "password".
To change log-in details: On the main menu, under Maintenance, select Set Password to display the Set Password screen.
Have a good one.

Software For NetGear Wireless-G WGR614v9

Power your router up and connect your computer to it either by cable port 1 or by wireless using your wireless network viewer. Make sure you acquire an IP address from your router. If you don't there is another problem.

To access the router, open your web browser and type one of the following:
http://www.routerlogin.net
http://www.routerlogin.com
http://192.168.1.1

Username is admin and password is password.

Here is a link to the product page. You can find documentation, FAQs, and firmware downloads there.

Hope this helps!
