Revive password hotmail

Hello. Suddenly I cannot log into my hotmail account. It says it's locked or something. I can't recover it even I remember my old passwords. However I can't remember e-mails that I sent because I haven't sent many recently. Can you help me? Thank you.

Sorry, but as for what you said in the title, and comments messes my head up. So, the problem is with Hotmail. Ok. Now, delete the browsing history and see if it helps. If not, contact Microsoft.

If you have forgotten your yahoo password and you cannot provide the same information you gave during registration or when you last updated your account. Without the correct verification information,You will not be able to obtain a new password. If there were a easy fix it would be open to abuse from hackers...Sorry.

Was this helpful?

How to recover a lost Windows xp password

These techniques to recover a lost xp password are among the more advanced Windows XP Tips and Tricks. In some cases, recovering from a lost password can be very easy though.
For completeness' sake we start with the simplest tips that can help you regain access to a locked account. But even if you find yourself in a more complex situation, please read on. You'll find out what to do.
If you can log in another user account
1. Click on “Start” and enter lusrmgr.msc into the search field:

2. Open “Local Users and Groups” and go to “Users”. Right-click on your account and select “Set Password”:

More advanced password recovery
If there are no other users on your machine to unlock your account, you need to reset your password "offline". Offline means that you boot your pc from outside your usual Windows XP environment using a boot disk or a bootable cdrom.
This offline technique to recover a lost xp password isn't for the faint of heart; the procedure isn't presented in a nice graphical interface and there even is a small risk involved ...
Sometimes the password reset fails and as a consequence you cannot log on with the locked user account afterwards. This doesn't happen often though, and if you are reading this because you need to recover a lost xp password ...
you weren't able to log on after all ...
Of course you will need access to another pc to create a boot disk or bootable cd.

I want to change my Hotmail (outlook) password I've been told my outlook has been hacked.

How to Change a Hotmail Account Password Two Methods:Changing a Password From Your AccountChanging a Forgotten Password or Recovering an Account
Outlook.com is the new name for Microsoft's web email service, formerly known as Hotmail and Windows Live Mail. If you have a Hotmail account, you can still access it through the Outlook.com website. You can change your password from your account settings or you can have your password reset if you can't remember it. If you don't have a recovery account associated with your Hotmail account, you will need to fill out a questionnaire so that Microsoft can verify your identity.
670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-1-version-4.jpg1
Sign in to Outlook (formerly Hotmail). Enter your Hotmail address and password to login and open your inbox.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-2-version-4.jpg2
Click your profile image in the upper-right corner of the inbox.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-3-version-4.jpg3
    Select "Account settings".
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-4-version-4.jpg4
Click the "Security and password" menu option.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-5-version-4.jpg5
Verify your account (if necessary). You may be asked to verify your account if you are using a browser you don't normally use. Microsoft will send a code to your backup email address. If you don't have access to your backup email address, select "I don't have these anymore".
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-6-version-4.jpg6
Click the "Change password" link. This is located under the "Password and security info" section of the Overview.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-7-version-4.jpg7
Enter in your current password, and then enter a new password. There are three fields in the "Change your password" page. The first is for your old password, and the second two are for your new password. You will need to enter the new password twice in order to confirm it. Click the Save button.
    • This password is your Microsoft account password. That means that anything else that uses a Microsoft account, such as Windows 8, SkyDrive, or Skype, will need to have the new password entered the next time you log in.
    • If you are worried about your account security, you can have Microsoft ask you to make you change your password every 72 hours. To enable this, check the box at the bottom of the page.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-8-version-4.jpg1
Open the.Outlook.com sign-in page. You can recover Hotmail passwords using the same method as recovering an Outlook password.
    • Hotmail accounts that were deactivated due to inactivity can be activated as long as it has been less than 365 days since your last login. If it has been over a year since you last logged in, your account and emails will be deleted and the name will become available for someone else to use.
    • Hotmail accounts that were manually deleted can be recovered for 30 days.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-9-version-4.jpg2
Click the "Can't access your account?" link below the Sign In button. This will take you to the password reset page.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-10.jpg3
Select "I forgot my password" and click "Next".
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-11.jpg4
Enter your Hotmail email address in the "Microsoft account" field.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-12.jpg5
Fill out the CAPTCHA underneath and click "Next". If you can't read it, you can click New to get a new one or Audio to have it read aloud to you.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-13.jpg6
Choose how you want to receive your reset link. If you have another email address attached to your account, you can have the password reset link sent to that email address. If you don't, you can click the "I don't have any of these" option. This will open a questionnaire which will help Microsoft verify your identity.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-14.jpg7
Fill out the questionnaire if necessary. Enter in an email address that you can be reached at. Answer all of the questions provided to the best of your ability to help verify your account. Using the questionnaire can take up to 24 hours to receive a response. This is the only way to recover your account if you don't have a secondary email address.
    • Do not trust any site that claims to have a toll-free number to recover your account password. There is no number that you can call to recover your account.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-15.jpg8
Reset your password. When you get the password reset link, you will be allowed to enter in a new password. You will need to enter it twice in order for it to take effect. You can now use this new password to sign in to your Outlook account.[1]
    • This password is your Microsoft account password. That means that anything else that uses a Microsoft account, such as Windows 8, SkyDrive, or Skype, will need to have the new password entered the next time you log in.

    Can't access my account

That may happen because it may already have upgraded to outlook.com, try to logging in in outlook.com with @outlook.com.
If that does not help, try recovering your password. If that is not the problem, make a new Outlook account.
And also, if you're using Messenger, it's time to upgrade to Skype!

Hi there! :) if you can't log in to your hotmail account you need to do this steps :)
Click your email link in Hotmail. Click on the words "Forgot Password" found under the sign on link. On the next page, there are two ways to reset your lost password, "Verify Information and Reset Password Online" or "Send Reset Instructions to my Email Address".
2.Answer the questions on the next page. This is the information you provided to Hotmail when you signed up for your account. Enter your country, state and zip code and the answer to your secret question.
3.Choose a new password. Make sure this is something you can remember but is hard for someone else to guess.
4.Ask Hotmail to send the password reset information to your email if you do not remember the answers to the secret question. An email will arrive at the alternate email address you provided during registration.
5.Open the email and click on the link. Follow the instructions to change your password.
6.Confirm your new Hotmail password by signing into your Hotmail account. Save your new password in a safe place
