This is on a CAR, right? Not a TELESCOPE, right? I think you are in Ireland? Right?
All jokes aside, you can replace the rubber boots on the steering box (do both sides) by first disconnecting the tie rod ball joints and removing them. You will need a tool like this Sykes Pickavant (not expensive)
Take careful note of how many turns to unscrew the ball-joint off the tie-rod end.
Cut the securing bands on the existing rubber boots, and cut them off completely. Then slide the new boots over the tie-rod and up to the steering box, and secure with the clamp band provided. Depending on your model you may be required to inject some oil into the rubber boots first.
Then replace the ball joints the same number of turns, tighten the securing nuts and replace the split pin shown in the video. Get a wheel alignment (essential).
Mark the tie rod end and its locknut, and the steering rod, before removal, and count the number of turns needed to remove the old tie rod end so that you can install the new one pretty nearly in the same position. You will still need a wheel alignment after. More info is here.
The term "Middle East" was coined in 1901 by Adm. Alfred Thayer Mahan, the celebrated American advocate of naval power. It was popularized in speeches in 1916 by Sir Mark Sykes, a British member of Parliament.
