Turn down the settings of your game (graphics) I have found these cards sort of just STOP if overloaded and 'stressed'. Start from the lowest setting and test. If okay go up a notch and test. If okay repeat this... But to be fair, on that card you should be able to get to quite high with the graphics. If this is okay, turn down the resolution on the game from 800x600 and then 1024 x 768 (optimal up to 17") then 1280 x 1024 (optimal 19" and above) and if applicable 1600 x 1200 Have you had it long? You could always get a replacement if still under warranty! I have had 3 X1950's and yours is the second X1650 I have heard about behaving in this matter.

Hi its unlikely to be your power supply, more like the video card is over heating, vent your case and add an extra fan and see if this cures the problem, Also if you have another pci card beside the video card, move it aside too allow better air flow and less interference to the v/card. Problem with Ati radeon graphic card

The ATI Radeon X1050 video card is unfortunately not supported by the game. You need atleast a X1300 to play the game. But you may try updating the game itself by going to the medal of honor website and download the patch. Then restart your computer and try starting the game.

The game stopped

Hello matbedui,
If you think the Radeon card is overheating you can check this by simply touching the card after it's been running for sometime. Some Radeon cards (high end) do have this problem. PC cases that do not have sufficient fresh air flow cause problems not just to video cards but to everything inside the case. The design of the HIS Radeon X1650 is less than sufficient. Keeping air flow contained. One way in & one way out. This issue is so important many companies creat sites to help you cool your card.

Your Radeon X1650 Pro IceQ II runs ATI's chips. Installing the latest software is recomended. Download from here:
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html
Pick your OS. Than pick Radeon. Scroll down to your X1600 series. You can also update through HIS. Their software is twice the size of the ATI software.

Good luck!

My bad, i was going to just ask about your PSU and went on trying to fix your problem :) If you do download rivatuner, check how hot your graphics card is running in graphics intensive games (it has a chart recorder). BTW I have a 1600XT and speeding up the fan helped a lot!

ATI RADEON X1650 Pro, AGP Graphic Card 512MB compatibility

Maybe this post is a bit old, but on last deceber I bought an AGP 512MB ATI Radeon X1650 PRO for my Foxconn motherboard and I must say that it's simply awesome!
I can play most games on mid-high settings on reasonable resolutions (most on 1024x768) with good FPS (except with Crysis... but let's face it, did Crytek bought a time machine to warp a 2010 game??).
So, if you already have it, then congratulations, and if you still are thinking on buying it, then what are you waiting for!?
Also, it's AGP x8, if your motherboard support x8, then it should run perfectly fine.

Also, I have a bit of problems trying to run Prey on the X1650...
It always appears an error... it's not of much importance, as I have much better games, but I haven't tried it with high fancy graphics... :P
