Question about Food Mixers
How do you remove the large belt pulley to gain access to the gearbox cover screw underneath it?
There should be an access screw on the bottom of the transmission housing where grease can be checked or introduces. Remove this plug and carefully introduce a tool such as a wide flat screwdriver to 'lock' the gears from turning. The nylon gear and 'isolator' should come off fairly easily

If the belt wheel is pressed onto a spindle, you need a gear puller. Do you have any pictures of this? I am trying to visualize the problem.
