You need to upgrade the usb drivers of whatever windows you are using. And if your laptop efficiency is slow than you should install windows it will automatically fix.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: usb not detected can you help me

There is a setting in the bios to disable or enable usb. So, when you first turn on the computer, (and you have to look fast) At the bottom of the screen, it will say press F1 or F2 to go into setup. In there somewhere (depending on which bios you have) you will see enable or disable usb.

Might take you a little while to find but it's there. Next thing to do would be to go into device manager and uninstall all usb and let windows redetect them.

Let me know how you get along.

Hi there,

Try to roll back the driver in device manager. You can try uninstalling the usb root hub associated with that device.

SOURCE: Acer Aspire 5820T Pc Notebook - Its not detecting the usb drivers. No usb ports work and neither does the Web Cam. Showing as Unknown Device under the usb devices.

I would guess the drivers are either not installed, or the wrong ones are installed. Go to the Acer website and select your model and download the current drivers from there and install.

restart the computer HOLD the keys CTRL or FN +f11 or f12 depend of your mark, in another use f2 or ESC, and fix it.
If the problem persist you must download the driver update from your manufacturer supplier, uninstall the corrupt driver and install the new one update.

Check the bios settings, in boot settings you must set CD unit as first boot device, then you start PC with recovery disk 1 inside.
