G33t-SM3 Motherboard I don't know who makes this motherboard but the G33t-SM3 was on the sticker above another sticker that has this number on it: S9232032F93P00DA. I am trying to find out where the rest of the cords for the front panel connect onto the motherboard.

Testimonial: "No I went there and checked out that website before posting this question. The G33t-M2 motherboard looks nothing like mine and it comes up as unable to find anything when I search the site for my G33t-SM3. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)"

Thank you Lars. I finally found the manufacturer (Supermicro) and the correct model number (C2SBA+II) which led me to the manual online. I now have all my connections set up as stated in the manual.

I found the motherboard I need K000085470, but the rest of the letters don't match up, instead of ending in WK 945K, Some other numbers and letters whats the difference?

They are just numbers that the manufacturer uses to keep track of when and where the board was made. Don't worry about them.

Where is the part number located on the motherboard for hp pavilion n5470? It isn't on the top right of the board. Do I have to remove the cpu and the heat sink combo to reveal the part number for

Most times it is located on a white sticker near the memory slots. One would think that is for the memory slots. Sometimes it could be anywhere and sometimes it will have MB on the sticker along with a series of numbers and letters. Sometimes only portions of the number you see on the sticker might be used to identify the board.

Try the steps below to be sure.

Write down the numbers you see on a piece of paper. Then go on ebay and in the search box type: HP Pavilion n5470 Motherboard. When the search results come back look at the motherboard part numbers and find one that matches one of the numbers you wrote down.

I looked for your board on ebay and only saw the following number for the motherboard: F2409-60903
One other thing you can do is to go into the HP Support website and instead of downloading drivers when you get the site up look around for links that will give you your warranty or configuration for your laptop that they manufactured it with. Usually they will have the motherboard part number listed in the original configuration.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HP Support" or "Compaq Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look at the links on the webpage and there will be one for warranty or configuration, specifications, etc. They will require you to put in the serial number and part number located on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop. Serial number will have S/N: Part number will have P/N: followed by a series of numbers and letters.

go to intel or your motherboard's manufacturer, and locate the page for your motherboard's part number which is found on a sticker on the board inside (typically.) There they should have fresh available downloads for your audio driver needs. Enjoy

Driver problem

Every motherboard will have the model number of the board marked on the board. Some manufactures place the model number on a white sticker located on the side of a PCI slot. Others mark the board near the memory slots, & others will mark a white sticker with the model number on the side of an IDE port or LPT port. (All found on the motherboard it's self).
Older boards lack such markings & people look for some markings on the north bridge & south bridge chipsets. The VIA P4MA you posted above I found from searching google. Looking for specs. Than the user can compair their board with a pic listed within the spec search. http://www.shopping.com/xPF-VIA-Socket-478-P4MA
Bottom line it is not easy finding older boards with little information marked on the board.
