Here you maybe should not set the manual setting to 800 mghz.

Use the default setting as you can save and reboot it.

There may be a problem with the way the bios sees the memory. Also examine your manual carefully for indications of how the memory needs to be installed.
Some boards require two or more modules to be installed, and will not run correctly with out the modules required installed. Some of these boards will not allow mixing anything except exact sets. That is to say each module must be the same. Some boards are far more tolerant of kinds and makes of modules.
With out the memory, you will not have anything to run on.
So, I would suggest to let the bios set what it sees.

"Four 240-pin Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2) SDRAM Dual Inline Memory Module
(DIMM) connectors with gold-plated contacts
• Support for:
. Non-ECC, 1.8 V, DDR2 800/667 MHz memory
. Serial Presence Detect (SPD) memory only
. Unbuffered, non-registered single- or double-sided DIMMs (except double-sided
DIMMs with x16 organization)
. Memory configurations listed below:
• Up to 2.0 GB utilizing 256 Mb technology
• Up to 4.0 GB utilizing 512 Mb or 1 Gb technology
• Up to 8.0 GB utilizing 1 Gb technology
• A minimum of 512 MB of total memory is required"
"NOTE
To be fully compliant with all applicable Intel ® SDRAM memory specifications, the
board should be populated with DIMMs that support the Serial Presence Detect (SPD)
data structure. If your memory modules do not support SPD, you will see a
notification to this effect on the screen at power up. The BIOS will attempt to
configure the memory controller for normal operation."
So, the memory is dependent on the configuration. It appears that this board requires 4 modules at once to be installed, depends on the amount of memory per module as well.

Be careful about flashing the bios. By doing that you can ruin the bios and make the computer completely unusable until you get and install a new bios module, if you do not pick the exact correct flash version.

SOURCE: My sound driver is not

Go to the web site of what ever PC you have ( Dell, HP or what ever the PC is ). At the web site you should find section that says drivers and support, or something like that. It will have you select your make and model. You should find the correct drivers there.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck

Find out which BIOS is installed (websearch on server model) then search for Bios Beep Codes for that BIOS. Check what 4-3 4-3 means, you may find it is something simple. If you can get floppy working you may be able to flash BIOS but again you need to know which one

Nx7300 black screen processor update

all that work on old Compaq why?
if the DC pack voltage is in spec then its ok.
a voltmeter tells you that easy, we, when lids off and at the internal jacks pins, under full load.
most laptops, had many processor choices, and up to 3 power packs matching that and up to 3 video cars, my HP5840w has that.

if BIOS screens are dead, you lost power, Im sure screen is ok)
BIOS most always work its resident in ROM and always works.
even with HDD /SSD removed.
its the acid test for all PCs.
this,Since the days of IBM PC Jr.... (with rom packs)
yes, older than dirt.

Windows won't see all of my 4GB of RAM but BIOS does! Why?

Windows xp will usually only see 3.5 gbs of ram even in your motherboard can support more. WIndowns vista does recognize more RAM or i also believe windows xp 64bit recognizes more ram. Nothing wrong with ram or your computer its just your operating system.

Did you get an error message during install of the (system with the SATA 160GB drive)? Make sure the 160GB drive is shown in the bios. Than go to the title, Boot in the bios & make sure the SATA 160GB is listed in the boot order. (Preferred 3rd. boot device)
Please go to the SATA drive's manufactures site & download either their bootable floppy or CD setup software. (It’s free)! Use their software to setup the FAT & cluster size on the drive. You can even set other features that neither the bios or windows can do. Format the 160GB drive with the software as well. The manufacture's software does a better job than windows. If the 160GB drive is a SATA 2.0 leave the jumper on the drive alone. The Desktop Board supports four Serial ATA channels (3.0 GB/s) via ICH7, connecting one device per channel.
Again, please run the manufactures setup software for your SATA 160GB drive. (Disconnect any other drives that may be in the system until windows is installed).

Windows Server wont load

You need to install the raid drivers during the OS installation otherwise the setup program will not recognise it. At the beginning of the setup, just after the black screen disappears and the setup screen appears, it will say at the bottom: "Press F6 if you want to install third party RAID / SCSI drivers" or something along those lines. That's where you dive for the F6 button and install the drivers from floppy disk. I'm sure you know where to get the drivers from, if not, do reply and ask. Good luck!
