Question about Good Technology iPhone Apps
Emails won't download to GOOD on my iPad. Looks like I'm connected and the synch time is correct (a couple of seconds ago) but no emails are coming through. At the office I received in around 100 emails today (Lotus Notes) which I should see on my iPad. Unfortunately nada. It used to be fine by suddenly stopped. I'm on the latest version of GOOD. Any idea's? Don't want to reinstall and lose the documents in the documents folder.....

You will need to setup a Exchange mail account on your ipad to receive all the mail and calendar items that you see on your Outlook mail and calendar.
Here is how to add an exchange account:
. From the Home Screen, tap Settings
2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Select Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
4. Now type into the following information:
* Email: your email address
* Username: your-Exchange-User-name
* Password: your-mail-password
* Description: It's Optional
* Server: ****.com
For your username, and server names, you will need to contact your company's IT department for the credentials. But your username is the one your IT dept. gives you for email access and password. exchange server name is the server address to access your mail.

Just some basics: the Good for Enterprise app will not operate without the necessary back-end software. Please contact your IT administrator for a username and password.
If this problem continues, contact your IT Administrator. Could be a network-related issue.
Hope this helps.

Since you are able to receive mails on your IPad 2 but can't send email, you should follow these instructions properly and it will be corrected.
1. Turn on all SMTP servers
On the IPad 2 click on Settings then Mail, Calendars, Contacts and under Accounts select the account your are trying to fix
Scroll down to Outgoing Servers and tap on SMTP
Click on all the Other SMTP Servers to switch them on
Other SMTP Servers
2. Set up your email account on the IPad 2 itself rather than syncing them from your computer
Open iTunes on your computer, connect your IPad 2 with the USB cable, and then select IPad 2 in the Devices section
Select the Info tab
Unselect the check box next to Sync Mail Accounts
When the IPad 2 has finished its sync, disconnect it from the computer
On the IPad 2 click on Settings then Mail, Calendars, Contacts
Click on Add Account and then follow the onscreen Wizard. When you enter your email address the IPad 2 will try to get the settings automatically. If that doesn't work you will have to get the set-up details from your email provider
Check your email again to see if the issue is resolved
3. Restart your IPad 2
Press and hold down the Sleep/wake button on the top of the IPad 2 until the red slider appears
Move the slider to switch the IPad 2 off
Press and hold the Sleep/wake button to restart the IPad 2
