Sir/Mam It would be helpful for us and for you too if you mention the model or the brand name. Regarding your "white screen"May be the pata problem else the LCD or the screen. Try it by replacing a new pata else the LCD. And if you can make it then refer to the nearest mobile shop for servicing.
Hope it's the LCD Display problem if not the pata that connect the board and the LCD (display or screen) Please try by replacing the (LCD)screen. Note: If you can't fixed it by yourself then please refer to the nearest mobile service centre. (Cos' the LCD price is high)
There are two ways to cause this... the first one is malfunction of small lcd and the second is damage of main strip (pata). So, to fix this you need to contact mobile repairing shop. Thanks for visiting fixya
Since there is no reply from other expert let me give you some hints. If you can receive calls with this condition, there are two possibilities to cause this, Display(LCD) and the Main Strip (pata). So, first put another LCD and if the problem persist change the Strip.Even if there is no effect the last thing is to check the PCB (board) and the main strip connector.I think this may help you what to do.Thanks for visiting fixya
I think when you slide the slider there might be problem in your display this is not a virus, the problem comes from the Strip(Pata) so change it .100% OK
find yours there, and take out old, via a screw underneath, and slide out, insert new one.
Also check drive is PATA and not SATA, they are not interchangeable,
larry, is your motherboard PATA capable? meaning, are there 4-8 red female connectors on your motherboard?
If there is no compatibility with your PATA/IDE Motherboard, you can purchase at any local computer shops PATA-IDE converters... ranging $15USD.
This converts the PATA DATA+Power to your motherboard.
The HD you have requires Jumpers. Hence why they look like card slots on the back.
Before purchasing any cables, be sure to notice if your motherboard is PATA capable and relieve less stress on you :)
