Question about Tomtom GO GPS
The unit keeps searching for a GPS Signal indefinitely. The satelites can be sen but the unit is unable to capture the GPS Signal. Further a notice says that there is an error with the TOMTOM SERVER.
Have you been able to get satellite connections (signals) when you're outdoors ? and not under/around tall buildings or overhanging obstructions.
Regularly get QuickGPSfix update (using TomTom HOME) to download the latest satellite positions (for the next 7 days), to enable your GPS to find the satellites quicker.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: No GPS Signal for TomTom 130
If you can, go outside to open space, no building or trees.
grab the tomtom and hold the power switch down regardless if it turned on or off, it will play drums wait 5-25 mins (make sure you are not walking around) , you will pick up a signal.
try this it works on most units.

Go to My Computer, then the TomTom drive and click explore. Move your Map folder to the desktop. Then, delete everything on the tomtom drive. Unplug it, plug it back in, and start up Tomtom HOME and install all updates, keep unplugging, plugging back in, and installing updates until there aren't any more updates. Then move your map folder back to where it was on your TomTom drive.
Please rate, Thank you!

I have the same problem in NL.. TT Home has problems downloading over Wireless connections.
Try connecting the computer to the internet via a cable. You may have to restart TTHome or maybe even your PC. The download should be quicker and more reliable :)
The problem is related to the MTU size and working around that can be very technical.
