Liebherr tp 1410 compressor will not start - Refrigerators

Check the temperature of the fridge with a digital thermometer. I should be 5' centigrade. It may be set too cold and freezing condensation running on the rear wall. Also make sure the circulation fan is working. It looks like it is the round disc at the top rear.

Push a flexible net curtain wire down the drain until it appears above the compressor pan.

You can also try cleaning the drainage trough, dry it and spray it with dry silicone spray or even WD40 if you don't mind the smell. That will stop water sticking.

look for build up in fan

It is a technical problem more than likely but will require someone who can use a voltmeter. If the compressor is running then it is probably out of freon.

If the compressor happened to be running when the power surge happened, it's possible the motor inside the compressor has failed. There are safety devices on the compressor that may have gone bad too. The electronics in the controller don't do well in surges, so that may be the problem too. It all comes down to how much the repairs will cost added to what you already have done to it against the cost of a new unit.

Might be, the compressor is loose, now is it loose at base where it is fastened or the bearings are loose.

This sound like it is either a sensor fault causing the compressor to not run, or there is a loss of gas/ compressor fault. Needs a service technician.

2005 thats not old & compressor should be fine. Have the thermostat control checked first, if it is not that it is possibly the capacitor on the start relay at fault. Can you tell me what gas is in the system, and the numbers on the side of the compressor.

All sorts of things can go wrong. Warm air will be sucked in and typically there will be water dripping from the cieling. The compressor will also continue to run .Will almost certainly get an ice build up on evep. plate. Suggest replacement as soon as possible.

The problem is the thermostat, not the drainhole. The thermostat should stop the compressor when a setpoint temperature has been reached, this gives the unit a chance for a small defrost.

Liebherr embraco compressor....compressor fluid leaked while moving, what is the fluid? is it easy to replace?
