Pull the stat off the wall, if the unit fan continues to run then your fan relay is bad or receiving 24vac from another source.

Unhook the thermostat wires on the furnace. If the blower shuts off then your problem is either the thermostat or the thermostat wires. If it contiues to run check you high limit switches next. If all else fails you most likely have a bad blower relay. On most modern furnaces the blower relay is part of the circuit board.
Good luck

Goodman package heatpump blower motor contant running

check your themostat fan mode switch to see if it in on or auto. It should be in auto. If this does not stop indoor fan motor, (it may take up to 2 minutes for the fan to stop, preprogrammed shutoff in the thermostat and fan control cards may make you think the fan has not stopped ) If this does not stop the fan the fan control board in your air handler has a green wire shorting to 24 volt signal in the theromostat wire or the contact on the blower control card is stuck and will need replaced.

Turn the thermostats fan position to Auto instead of ON. If it already is in Auto, then there is a fan relay stuck in the board.

Blower motor continues to run after burner shuts down and will just keep on running.

Most obvious thing to check is the fan switch on your thermostat. Make sure it is in the auto position and not the on position.

If the unit is maintaining the set point on the thermostat then the other cause could be a faulty control board which is not deactivating the fan relay.

Goodman Furnace Intermittent

Does this piece, have an economizer and or vent draft options installed? I hope not. If not, I had the same sort of problem with a Payne unit, sort of the same style. First things first. bypass the thermostat by making a jumper or connecting the red to the white wire on the thermostat, see if that stops the problem. Repair techs are all to anxious to replace the board anymore. If the repair man installed a relay to bypass the blower control he is in over his head, the limit switch determines when the fan shuts on & off based on temperature. There is a relay on the control board that basically carries the load for the motor. Dont have anything else installed that need not be there (there is enopugh crap already from the factory) If you want to really fix this I need to know if you have and can read a volt/ohm meter and can understand a wiring diagram, hopefully yours is still there. let me know after the thermostat thing and I can walk you through this.

Goodman Furnace m/n GKS90453BKAC

A constant red light (not blinking) indicates that the thermostat is not calling for heat. Of course you know it is but just to be safe, jump out R and W on the board. If it continues to do the same as you indicated, replace the board.

My fan runs constantly even if the system is off. The only way to cut it off is to kill power by the main outside breakers

Check the thermostat and make sure it is in the auto position. If that does not correct the problem you will need to disconnnect power to the unit, unhook the thermostat wires and plug power back in. If tha corrects the problem it is either in the wiring or the thermostat. If the fan continues to run, replace the furnace control board.
