Color registration is off. How do I correct it?

SOURCE: Colors are off registration

Try stripping out the ITB assy and washing the main drive roller and the lead roller...ONLY wash those two rollers and NOT the foam rollers.
If it's only one or two colors that are out then try replacing the internal transfer rollers for the colors affected.
If all else fails do a P-Print then do a DC claer and re-enter the settings from the P-Print.

you need to check your settings, you may need to fool the machine..
on the webpage, or the front panel, select material type as plain.
set the weight setting as auto.
in the driver, make sure the setting is set to "printer Setting"
also in the driver check the selection for "black" instead of "colour"

Solving issues with color documents This section describes issues that can occur when you print in color. Color document issues Problem Cause Solution Only black is printing when the document should be printing in color.

c00659983.gif Color mode is not selected in your program or printer driver. Select color mode instead of grayscale mode. The correct printer driver might not be selected in the program. Select the correct printer driver. The device might not be correctly configured. Print a Configuration page.

One or more colors are not printing, or are inaccurate.

c00659984.gif Sealing tape might be on the print cartridges. Verify that the sealing tape has been completely removed from the print cartridges. The media might not meet HP specifications. Use a different paper, such as high-quality paper that is intended for color laser printers. The device might be operating in excessively humid conditions. Verify that the device environment is within humidity specifications. One or more print cartridges might be low. If you are using non-HP print cartridges, no messages appear on the device control panel or in the HP Toolbox. Replace any low print cartridges. The control panel is set for override. Replace low or empty print cartridges. A color is printing inconsistently after you load a new print cartridge.

Remove the print cartridge for the color that is printing inconsistently and reinstall it. The control panel is set for override. Replace low or empty print cartridges. The colors on the printed page do not match the colors as they appear on the screen.

c00659986.gif The colors on your computer monitor might differ from the device output. Select Screen Match in the Color tab of the printer driver. If extremely light colors or extremely dark colors on screen are not printing, your software program might interpret extremely light colors as white or extremely dark colors as black. If possible, avoid using extremely light or extremely dark colors. The media might not meet HP specifications. Use a different paper, such as high-quality paper that is intended for color laser printers. The finish on the printed color page is inconsistent.

SOURCE: Ricoh Aficio Color Registration Error

I had the same problem on my printer. I called Ricoh tech support, (this error was not listed in the manual). He told me to try to reseat the Black PCU and the color PCU, then run the auto color registration from the Menu. I tried this and my Color Registration Error went away.

i want to ask few question, are you using correct envelopes for this machine or can you use any type, is the weight of paper like is 20lbs
paper, or is it cheap 99 cents paper.
the port where the color ink is spout or ejector port is issue.

Yellow registration problems on xante 502


clean all the registration sensors on the imaging drums and at the fuser end (there are 3 under a shifting piece of white plastic on the left side after transfer belt is removed.

How do i adjust the color to color registration. the yellow on my machine is a bit off set


you have misregistration issue? go to printer's menu in calibration, in adjust registration and press enter. it will check the position of the drums. make it 2-3 times. if the result is the same, remove the drum and clean with some alcohol the drum's contact inside the machine. also clean with a cloth the LED surface, maybe it has some toner on it.
if again you have problem, see if you have any old used yellow drum to check.

How do I print sequential numbers on xante Illumina


I have a xante ilumnia and use a program called numberpress to do seq. ncr forms, raffle tickets, well really any thing that needs numbers, It works great and is easy to use, their support is great.

Xante Illumina runs very slow when printing on carbonless paper even for just black type. Could this be a sensor problem??


you need to check your settings, you may need to fool the machine..
on the webpage, or the front panel, select material type as plain.
set the weight setting as auto.
in the driver, make sure the setting is set to "printer Setting"

Stretched Printing of Photos and graphics


ok, the issue is most likely technical, but fixable with a mouse click.
your MAC, is most likely running a pc prossessor version.
this causes mis inter[pretation of pc based files and comes into play with CS3 programs..
go into the mac hard drive, and select the appliaction (in this case In Design) go the the info page, and click on "more info"...you should see a check box for "rosetta". check this box. and then print again, problem should be solved....is so, go into all the CS3 applications and do the same..check the rosetta box...good luck...

What is wrong with this Illumina???


I have been running this machine for 2 years. The only way I can run is too 1 printer media to plan - on Ilumina display panel 2 media weight to auto on Ilumina display panel - 3 When printing in printer dialog be sure set these options -  -printer features-insert option - set media type to Printer Setting

I have tried changing the media types as well and will not work for me- but setting to auto works. http://www.inkcoverage.com

Poor registration on Xante CL30 HSE


Make sure the drums are properly seated in their cradels, and if posible, avoid designing with white small text in heavy solid areas that are made up of process colours. For reverse type in a black background, use spot color black rather than rich black. Other than than printing on a not as heavy card, that is about all you can do.
