As a PWC puts you out in open water with no way back apart from swimming, I advise having your PWC serviced at the end of every season. You may have had an airlock in the oil line which cleared due to the slow running. Have a general service anyway which on my outboard costs $125.
po544 code is exhaust gas temp sensor functional problem ! is this in the water or on the hose pipe as hose water pressure may be low ? you can only run seadoos for 3min out of water on a hose pipe as the engine cooling system will overheat !
Sounds like you might have the rotary valve in the wrong position. Also you are going to need to replace your fuel lines and check the fuel petcock for any blockage. Lastly, when u rebuilt this carb did you check the tiny fuel filter behind the pump body?
have you got any fault codes on the screen ? has the intercooler been checked for leaking in to the intake manifold ? press the set button 5 times to see codes if any ! how old is the fuel ? over 5mths then replace !!
