Ok, so a few days ago when trying to open IE I got a message from my anti-virus saying about a virus. It wouldn't let me do anything, I wanted to delete the virus but my anti-virus is weird like that. I actually upgraded IE to IE8 thinking it would be safer. Result was error messages each time I closed IE. So I removed it and re downloaded it. I think those messages went away. Well then while browsing in Firefox I kept getting pop up ads. I know I have the pop up blocker chosen in options, because I have never had this problem! I rechecked and yep...pop ups are blocked according to Firefox. So I think, something bad is on my computer. I scanned my computer with my anti-virus and it took a Trojan off. It also detected other things but had some ''errors'' (I don't know why) So I went out and found an anti-spyware software, downloaded it and scanned. IT found almost 500 things and it successfully got rid of all of them but 20 (it had ''errors'' or something) Ok so I restarted my computer and now I keep getting messages that say ''bad image'' everytime I open a program like Firefox or Microsoft Word Everytime I try to fix something, I get a new problem...how do I fix the bad image one? Thanks
I defragged my computer and that didn't help either...I guess I will have to take it to the Computer Repair shop on Wednesday... Thanks for trying to help

First download a copy of Dr. Web, Malware Bytes and Superantispyware. Run these one at time. This should get rid of all your problems, if not a Windows repair is next.

Anti-theft system has nothing to do with it . Battery cables , maybe , Park neutral safety switch possibly ! With anti-theft system problem you wouldn't a click or anything , that is if the anti-theft disables fuel or the starter . Plus the SECURITY light would be on if it were a anti-theft system problem . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop that knows how to do starter circuit testing > Starter Voltage Drop How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit
And what's this
identity anti theft system ? No such thing !
The vehicle has a content theft an vehicle theft deterrent system !
This system disables fuel not cranking of the engine. The VCM/PCM will not disable the fuel due to any BCM message for the remainder of the ignition cycle.
If the VCM/PCM does not receive the same password from the BCM as the last learned one, the vehicle will start and then stalls due to the Fuel Lockout.
Sounds like a possible virus. Did you try running your anti-virus software (Reccomend Norton/ McAfee) If that dosnt work i reccomend that you bring it into a store to have it checked out
You could have been infected with a virus or malware. Run your anti-virus program and remove any viruses. Then reinstall IE, you may need to uninstall the existing IE first, then reboot your computer and then install IE.
Try a scan with your virus scan, then with a malware scanner, i use Malwarebytes.
I would then use CCleaner, use the registry cleaner also.
This will clean out all your temp files, and remove any registry errors that may be causing IE from starting properly.
You could also use Firefox, or chrome as your browser if this does not fix it
Your Operating System is corrupted, probably by a virus or a program you recently installed. The best solution would be to reinstall your Operating System (OS). Remember to back up your data before OS installation.
This error message means your have some type of malware on your computer. Could be spyware, a trojan, or a fake rouge anti-virus. You'll need to download a good virus scanner and anti-malware scanner. I like avast anti-virus and malwarebyes anti-malware. You may also need a stand alone fix if its any variation of vundo. If your require more help don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks Superantispyware was what I downloaded and what removed most of those 500 things...
so I need a windows repair?
I might drop my computer off at the computer shop...would they be able to fix it?
Thanks again
