SOURCE: Agriculture Application of Round-up

Very important to buffer the pH of the water at pH 5. Then add Roundup /Glyphosate 360 at a 2% for grass weeds and 3% for brush weeds. Ensure that the grass is dry when treating and no rain is expected within 6 hours. Please take care with roundup as it is poison .

SOURCE: the label got wet on

Hi,
! to 4 willl give you a good kill with any of the products... there are some higher strentgh products out there that you mix 2 ounces per gallon, but it sounds like you have the weaker mix...
so I would go with what you are thinking if it is too strong it will not hurt anything but the weeds... :-)

SOURCE: the directions are missing on how to mix roundup

Howdy. First off, it depends on which color cap your product has, as there are different concentrations available.
Here are the choices: http://www.scotts.com/smg/brand_pages/round_up/image/Roundup_Chart.pdf

If you have the regular, basic, red cap product, here is the label:

I hope you find this handy:)

What is the mixing rate for round up to kill broadleaf weeds such as thistle, parthenium etc so that I do not kill the grass

Any round up mix that will kill the weeds will kill the grass. the only way I can think of is to tie a sponge to a stick dip in round up and apply to each weed, you will not have to cover the whole weed, just touch a few leaves.

What is mixing ratio for weedater

The ratio is generally 40 to 1. That is all I have ever used. It depends also though on the quality of the oil you use. Synthetics can use a different ratio than mineral oils.

Glysophate How much to use in 6 litre spray

This depends on the exact product which you bought. It is available from ready-to-use to very concentrated forms, as well presumably in solid (powder or crystals) form. You should follow the instructions on your package. If none are available, dispose of the weedkiller safely (do not pour it down the drain, take it to a garden centre - I would hope that they would not just do the same !!), and buy new. It is a poison !

Roundup superconceterte mixing

I assume you are talking mixing ratios. In most cases a 1% roundup to water mixture will kill many plants. On very stubborn species you can go to a 2% concentrate but anything above that in my opinion you're just wasting your money. More isn't always better when it comes to weed killers.

I have used Roundup weed killer in the past, and am satisfied. But I no longer have the instructions about how much product to mix per gallon (or quart) of water. I use small amounts, like a quart sprayer....

I have a 5ltr can of Roundup and the dilution ratio for general week killing is 1 part Roundup to 4 parts water. I use this ratio all the time and it workes a treat.

How much Roundup do you mix in one gallon of water?

If you have the concentrate (label reads Concentrate Plus), the amount of Roundup will depend on the plants you want to kill. Use 6 fl oz (12 tablespoons) for 1 gallon for most plants. If you have seedlings or easy to kill weeds, use 3 fl oz (6 tablespoons) per gallon.

The Super Concentrate may have a different rate. The labels are usually on the manufacturer's web site as PDFs.

I hope this helps.
