Question about Lands Phones
I have a Uniden cordless 5.8 GHz phone with 3 handsets and answering system. About every 10 minutes there is a beep that seems to come from the main base. There are no new messages. The phones all work for both outgoing and incoming calls. The power was recently out for 45 minutes but the phones seemed to work afterwards. I did reregister all of them to be sure, and I reset the time. I also unplugged the phone and plugged it back in. Any thoughts on how to get rid of this annoying beep? I just set this new phone system up the first week in August. It is a DXA15588-3 Series.

Hi yes you can add additional phones to it as long as their the same frequency so that they pick up the signal from the main phone that plugs into the phone line.
Im sure you can have upto 4 handsets but just make sure theis same make and frequency

This is possibly caused by the internet connection.
Try new ADSL filter.
You need one each per device.

SOURCE: uniden 5.8Ghz phone.
You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

If the handsets are not currently registered to any base, the SYSTEM RESET menu won't appear.
If the TCX905 handsets in question are actually expansion handsets from another Uniden Phone System, they are not true TCX905 handsets. To verify, remove the battery cover and battery, then look at the inside label. If it lists the model of a TRU9xxx phone system, your handsets are NOT TCX905.
Uniden unfortunately has programmed the expansion handsets from SINGLE LINE TRU9xxx phone systems to NOT REGISTER against the TRU9466. (Those same handsets register fine against predecessor model TRU8866 though).
