Question about AquaVac Tigershark Plus Robotic Automatic In Ground Pool Cleaner

Drive Motor won't turn but pump works

Unit was working fine but treads were worn. I replaced them with new. When I restarted the unit, the drive motor jerked fwd, then back, then stopped. Pump works. I took the unit apart (I know, I'm not supposed to). When I hit the drive motor with 24VDC from a separate power supply, drive motor turns. Is there a schematic avail for the circuit board? Is there a fuse/relay/etc. anywhere in the board? What if I bypass the board and send 24 VDC directly to drive motor? I know it won't reverse directions this way, but at least it will move!

I recently bought a used Precor 954i it worked fine then when i brought it home and wired it in with a 20amp breaker and 240 volt im getting error 29 as soon as i turn the machine on any ideas?

Precor Error 29, Excessive AC Input Current Probable Cause 1. The running belt and/or deck are badly worn.
2. Bad lower PCA.
3. Drive motor is shorted or de-magnetized causing a high power demand.
Corrective Action
  1. Check the amp draw using a clamp on AC volt-amp meter during loaded and no load conditions and compare values to a similar treadmill that is known to have a good running belt and deck. Replace the belt and/or deck if necessary. Don't forget, some units have a double sided deck which means it may be flipped over rather than replaced if it has an unused side.
  2. Test unit with a known good lower PCA. Replace lower PCA if necessary.
  3. Test unit with a known good drive motor. Replace drive motor if necessary.

Precor 9.21s. Get ERR 21 message. Stopped Working

Precor Error Code 21 Error Code: 21 Manufacturer: Precor
Model: All Models
Error Description: Error 21, Too many Consecutive Power Requests- The error 21 observes a treadmill's power bit reading when the treadmill was operating at speeds above 1 mph. Power bits indicate the relative time that the motor controller drive circuit is turned on. Power bits is an indication of the amount of power the load is demanding from the motor controller. Error 21 indicates that at a speed greater than 1 mph, an excessive amount of power is being demanded from the motor controller. Possible Reason:
  1. A badly worn deck and/or running belt can cause the error to appear when the unit is in use.
  2. Badly worn drive motor brushes may not be making proper contact with the drive motor commutator causing the error to occur when the unit is in use. The unit may also slow down or become sluggish when the load or speed is increased.
  3. A jumper may be required on the lower PCA if installed into a 120 VAC (Version 2) treadmill.
  4. A leaky or shorted drive motor filter capacitor (on units equipped with SCR motor controller) could increase the current demand enough to cause the error.
  5. A leaky or shorted drive motor inductor (on units equipped with SCR motor controller) could increase the current demand enough to cause the error.
  6. The high power demand is caused by a shorted or de-magnetized drive motor.
Recommended Action:
  1. Determine the amount of AC input current being drawn by the unit under no load and loaded conditions using a clamp on AC ammeter. The current displayed can be used to determine the condition of the deck and/or running belt. These same readings should be taken on a like unit, in good operating condition with a know good deck and running belt. The readings from the unit in good operationg condition can be used as the benchmark. Compare readings and replace* the deck and/or running belt if necessary. *Some units have a reversible deck. Be sure if the deck is being flipped or replaced, a new belt is installed on the new deck surface.*
  2. Inspect and repalce both drive motor brushes if necessary.
  3. Inspect the lower PCA (if unit is 120 VAC/ Version 2) for jumper. If jumper is not installed, error typically appears between 7 mph & 8 mph. Install jumper if necessary. CAUTION - DO NOT install jumper if unit is 240 VAC. Installing the jumper on a 240 VAC unit will casue the lower PCA to fail.
  4. Measure the AC input current without a load using a clamp on AC ammeter. Electrically isolate the filter capacitor from the drive motor circuit. The drive motor leads need be kept intact so the drive motor will operate with the filter capacitor removed from the circuit. Re-measure the no load AC input. If the AC input current is significantly lower, replace the filter capacitor.
  5. Measure the AC input current without a load using a clamp on AC ammeter. Electrically isolate the inductor from the drive motor circuit. The drive motor leads need be kept intact so the drive motor will operate with the inductor removed from the circuit. Re-measure the no load AC input. If the AC input current is significantly lower, replace the inductor.
  6. Swap the existing drive motor with a known good drive motor.

The rollers are not turning. It is not an electrical problem because water shoots from the top.

There are two motors usedi n an Aquabot. The pump motor is separate from the drive motor, and the drive motor acts to drive the wheel tubes by means of a belt drive system. If the drive motor is working ( lookiing at the unit under power, the drive motor shaft which an be seen on either side of the unit is turning) ,t
Then you have a dive belt problem, solved by replacing the drive belts. If you happen to be in or near Phoenix, Arizona, I can help you replace the belts. If not, the belts can be purchased fairly inexpensively and are not hard to replace. If the drive motor is shot, the only answer is to contact an authorized repair center. S. Braun 8595 vibrates excessively and sometimes jams

I'm in the process of replacing the Braun 8000 Series Activator Motor Drive Unit in my shaver. The Motor Drive Unit is all one piece, cost $33.99 at http://shaveroutlet.com/.To disassemble remove the plastic cover on the bottom that covers the cord socket. Be careful, there are a total of two tabs on the short sides and four very small tabs on the long sides. I used my fingernail to create a space big enough to insert the corner on a credit card in the center of a long side and gently removed the cover. Using a screwdriver could damage the plastic. The two sides then pop off. There are a total of four screws holding the body together. Remove the screws, the shaver splits into. Remove the Motor Drive Unit and replace with new unit. There is also a circuit board with the batteries below the Motor Drive Unit. Assembly is the reverse of above.

Sounds like you have a broken drive belt - if a washing machine doesn't spin, the usual cause is that the belt that goes between the motor and the wash tub has worn out and broken.

The usual procedure is to open the top of the unit and locate and remove the broken belt and replace with a brand new belt, the most expensive part of this repair is the labor, and it is not that difficult for most models if you have some basic tools.

Will need your specific make and model of unit in order to look up the part number of the belt and find out how easy the replacement process is, if you can leave this information, perhaps I can help more. :)

Good luck!
