On the terminal board of model PCL541R 52" serial # 39zr863047f there is a milky substance on the board under L507 and L506 either from water getting on the board (unlikely) or from something in chroma 004393 metal box. Also under J229 area big resistoron board. Do you have a schematic or can you tell me if this problem is nomal breakdown. TV will not turn on no lights blink . The thing that will give inside it with some liquid substance will be the electrolytic capacitor, corrosion, or thermal grease with a milky substance. Or some insect or lizard.

If the tv not blinking, a high probability of your power section is also cut off, check if fuse is busted. If busted, check the whole power section for defective component. You should at least have standby power, then also check the high voltage section for any possible defect.

No pressure so removed pump. What is milky yellow substance leaking from openings in engine and pump when I pulled pump off?

Hi Dawn:
Milky coloured substance is usually a mixture of oil and water.
I would be checking for a bad pump shaft seal that is allowing water to get from the pump into the engine crankcase.
This is something that needs to be resolved before engine damage results.

Milky oil cap on merc c180 2005

You havw a serious problem with water getting into the oil.
Most likely it is leaking from the head gasket. You mentioned that the head gasket was replaced 6 months ago. Did the cylinder head get re-tighten after several hundred kms. If not this should have been done to avoid this problem.

You have oil entering the radiator and when combined with water makes a milky substance. Oil entry is normally through a defective cylinder head gasket.

What causes the white milky subtance under oil cap. How do you prevent it?

The milky white substance is water mixing with oil. Oil normally mixes with water in your engine from a blown head gasket, but if your not having any problems with your car I have seen where a little water gets under the oil cap from washing the engine down. Hope this helps.
