I'm having problems with my Soundesign turn table... After finishing a record it auto-returned the stylus, and since then the turntable won't turn. I can't remove the platter, however I can lift it up...

I actually had the same problem with my soundesign. Really sucks that we can't remove the platter. However... I just jiggled mine for a while and it started working again. I know that doesn't sound like a real solution, but I would just try playing with it for a while. Mine worked after that..
Do you by chance have any idea how to get closer to the belt? Mine is having a speed problem and needs adjusting but obviously the platter is a ***** to take off.

Technics SL-B2 not cooperating with R4450W Soundesign receiver

I would suspect that the receiver has only an AUX input. If that is the case, you will need to purchase a phono pre-amp. These are readily available for about $20 or so. This will boost the low signal level from the table to line level which is what the AUX input is expecting.

Record player belt

Scott, the belt wraps around the bottom of the turntable platter, then put the platter back on your turntable, and you'll have to pinch back a section of the belt and wrap around the brass motor spindle. That's pretty much it!

Good luck.
