An F2-04 is the IC chip on the toner cartridge was blown by the machine because it was unable to replenish tone in the developer unit , replacing the toner would clear the error but if it is a symptom , and usually is , i would suggest to take it to a Sharp technician to have a look at it, because if the problem is deeper it would just blow the new toner`s IC and that would be a waste
There are a lot of choices for F2-?? Hold down the Start button to see the remaining digits.
Sim 22-6 will print all jam codes & error codes. It should be a
process control code. F2-31 or F2-37, Drum mark or image density. You
can execute 44-6. This should show which is out of range. Pull the drum
unit out & clean both sensors. Check that the blade is cleaning from
end to end that the DM is visible to the sensor.
First insert the sim on another mobile and check the Message center number from the Message settings (text message settings), note down the number, now insert the sim onto your handset and go into the message settings then text message and replace the message center number with the one you've noted down, save the changes made and restart your phone, it should work now.
There is an excessive amount of suds in the system and this affects the sensor and causes the drain pump to run and run and run until it shuts off from overheating. This is why we get the F2 and/or suds error code. Once a month, run the machine on the hot water cycle with a cup of bleach. This will clear out any suds build-up. Good luck :)
get to the mainboard there is a jumper near the cmos battery usually shows the word (jbat) near it , try to change its position for some seconds while power is off , this way will clear cmos and set the mainboard bios to default settings. start the system hit delete or F2 to enter setup then exit saving changes.
