The speakers on my Griffin Evolve wireless speaker system will not work. However, when I transfer them to a second identical system and base, using the same iPod they do work. It seems as though the base...

Well, you did the right thing by verifying that the speakers are not the problem (they work in an identical system). Try connecting a different iPod, just to rule out that being a problem. Some of these docks need an adapter for some versions of the iPod... check to make sure you have the right one. Otherwise, if the base is defective, maybe you can get a replacement from Griffin. Contact their technical support staff. Good luck.

It must be a bad internal speaker, but also check the external speaker jack for broken solder. Good Luck

you are over driving both your amp and the speakers.
do y9ou have speakers in parallel-- making the combined speakers less than 4 homs? also the cd is probably rated with ( i for got he initials it something like CDX whish has a 30 hertz base boom to it this is a good caution to observe becaus you may be overdriving both the speakers doing damage ( this becomes a DC component and is generating a lot of heat energy causing your amp to clip ( overheat) and the speaker to stop in mid stroke causing mechanical damage).

Get a bigger amp. Starts.
Get a balanced System
Go to a rock concert instead.
work at a jet engine factory.
Good luck
