Question about Xerox WorkCentre 7132 Multifunction Color Copier RECONDITIONED
Bought a Xerox WorkCentre 7132 used, have tried factory defaults of user: 11111 and password admin-x. Successfully changed password using info found online of holding down 0 key and start button to enter CE mode. Cannot reset admin user name. Do not want to pay for service call just to reset user name. Please help.

In menus you browse to the service tab, then serivice diagnostics. Go to NVRAM reset and perform the NVM reset.
Before you do that, print out a configuration page if you want to rememebr the network settings. It will set the IP address back to default also.

Most likely the tray setting has changed, Here is what to check.
If not, click on the printers on your computer, Right click the 4118 and look in the printer properties. One of those settings may be off.
More likely is that the machine settings have changed for whatever reason.

You can download the installation driver and software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link
On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu and select the Language "English". Then click "Go" button.
Download the required drivers and software from the list which opens.
The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

Enter UI Diagnostic Mode.
Press the Log In/Out button on the Control Panel
Select System Settings.
Select Common Settings.
Select NVM Read/Write.
Enter location 700-171 and press Confirm/Change. This is the current password. You can provide this number to the customer, or set the location to the default value (11111) and allow the customer to enter a new number from Tools mode.
