I have LED Vizio TV, it has sound and back light but no picture, how do I fix?

The fault you refer here is normally caused by T'Con board itself. Please check all the voltages comes to that board, from its main power regulator board. Refer some schematic diagrams related to the wiring and voltages of T'Con board. Will get some idea about it. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.
If all the voltages to it is correct, and still no video, the display panel should be checked.

I am getting a green screen with no picture. I have replaced the lamp and still have the green screen

It isn't the lamps. It is in the controller circuit board.
The cost may be more than a new TV. Get a LED or LCD Flat screen.

Vizio sv320xvt mainboard not sending +5 to t-con

The missing +5 seems to me to be a real clue--try to follow it back to mainboard etc---it can be a open or just a processor is not switching it on---impossible to really get a component schematic with voltages etc as they do not want to sell and do not sell discrete parts--if you find it is there Google the internet for that board--seen some on ebay from dropped or junked sets and others elsewhere.

I do not like "replace the board either" but in some cases (which is what the maker wants it is the way the repair work is done now.

over 30 years here in experience from tube type sets to current junk.

My 42 inch LG tv keeps going very dark on 1 side of screeen. Any solutions?

This problem is most likely caused by the T-CON board. It could be a bad connection of the cable from the LCD to the T-CON board. or the T-CON board could be bad. Sometimes you can disconnect and reconnect the flat cable(s) to the T-CON board and solve the problem. Else you can replace the T-CON board.

The T-CON board is the board that drives the picture to the LCD screen.

Turned on monitor and screen stays white no icons..etc

It sounds like the T-CON board (part of the LCD panel assembly) is not getting 5vdc. Check the power supply and logic bd caps. Check fuse on the T-CON BOARD.
See LCD panel pictures and bad caps:

Pico fuse

It's on the T-con board itself at location Cp1 which you will find printed on the board itself.. The fuse is a tiny s/m (surface mount fuse but you can use a pico fuse of same value. According to schematics it's a 1.5a fuse. Simply solder one across the s/m fuse and if it opens then change the board. Samsung p/n# Bn81-01286a
To test the fuse use a VU meter set to continuity.
Pico fuses are readily available at almost any electronics supply outlet. I get mine from ACME Sales in Florida (least expensive) but even your local Radio Shack might sell them...
