How to turn on my alarm on Toyota celica 1997

There was not a factory installed alarm for this car, any "toyota" security system would have been instaled at the dealer or the regional distribution port depending on what region the car was originally sold from. Do you have a remote for the system? Also check for a red valet button on the dash that can be toggled on/off. The port systems are also known for toggle switches located on the driver kick panel or under the driver dash. If you don't have a remote and manually unlocking the car from closed driver door will not disable the system you will have to locate the toggle/valet switch.

Have a 97 honda. Just purchased. It has a toggle switch installed that works with original key ignition. That said... toggle controls whole electrical..everything works..except tail lights, and the dash...

So If I understand, you turn on toggle and then use key to engage starter? Do brake lights and turn lights work, just not the running lights? Or are all tail lights dead. If none work, juice is not getting to the headlamp switch. Best fix would be to replace the probably bad ignition switch and repair wiring back to original, but quick fix would be to run a second wire from toggle switched side to the headlamp switch +

How do i turn the wifi on my compaq nc8000 after installing the wireless card

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Where is the red switch that is turned off when servicing Audiovox pretige remote car starters?

there is usually a red toggle switch down in the kick panel or on the knee bolster. It is silver and has a red rubber boot on the toggle switch. This may not be there if the tech did not install it.

There should be an override switch mounted up under the dash.. It willl either be a push button or a toggle switch.. If push button, with door open turn key on then off then push and hold the push button in for about 4 to 5 secs then the alarm should shut off nad the little led should goes solid. if toggle key on then off and the toggle the switch to the opposite side

Can't turn off built-in alarm

There should be a toggle switch that was installed with the alarm system, may be down by your left leg when sitting in the drivers seat. With the key in the ignition and turned to "on", flip the toggle switch twice to turn off the alarm.

I have a dual brand car monitor stereo that won''t show dvd

hi there
well to start the e-brake will need to be applied to allow you to see the video if it was installed correctly.................to over ride this feature you need a toggle switch with 3 pins on it
on the toggle switch there should be two logos (power & ground) if you run a small wire from the red wire from the back of your in-dash system to the toggle switch (power) and do the same for the black wire (ground wire)..........the last pin on toggle switch you attach the e-brake wire from the back of your in-dash system to the toggle switch pin and turn it on video will play
if this doesn't work switch the e-brake and ground wire around on the toggle switch
hope this helped

Multiple switches/multiple amplifiers

All the amps should be wired directly to the battery, with a toggle switch on each of them. most amplifiers have a SWITCH wire as well, shich is usually wired to your ACC wire on the stereo. instead, run each SWITCH wire to a positive wire through the toggle switch. If done right, you should be able to run each amp on a separate circuit and can turn them on or off as you wish.
