Question about Computers & Internet
My child was playing around with laptop while I had left it at home as a result when I came back it had locked the BIOS (i.e. password changed) and crashed the OS (Windows 7), the laptop cannot boot and it can't load the Windows OS. Please help with settings of resetting BIOS so that I set the Boot Options to repair my OS as it can't read the CD/DVD upon boot.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

you're out of luck, unless you're familiar with "shorting" the bios chip.
Of course, you can contact Toshiba for a workaround. Proof of ownership is necessary.

there is couple reason for that. (1) start windows normally and restore the system at previous stage. so if some driver software conflict with hardware then it solve problem. (2) insert the os disc and boot from the disc and choos repair \restore operating system. it may replace any missing system file. (3) if 1st and 2d not solve the problem then remove the RAM and clean it and fix it again. or check SMPS or Hard drive...
