I washed my blackjack and the fone works but the screen stays white. anything i can do?

there probably not because it probably got shorted out and the plain white screen is usually just the light lighting up not the screen so you will have to get a new phone sorry hope this was helpful:)

See White Screen + Nokia Logo + Failed to Start contact Retailer

Hi there,

Try formatting your phone and see if it works.
First make sure your phone is turned off. Then press the following buttons simultaneously (at the same time:

Power button + * + 3

This will restore and reformat your phone into factory settings. Hopefully your phone will be able to start again as if it were being used the first time from the box.

Let me know if it works,

Hope I have been of assistance to you,

Cheers :)

MY SCREEN IS COMPLETELY WHITE....I NEED TO SAVE MY NUMBERS TO THE SIM CARD BUT I CANT SEE CAN SOMEONE WALK ME THROUGH IT TO TELL ME WHAT BUTTONS TO PUSH. I HAVE A SAMSUNG A 737 SLIDER I have a Nokia 6131...

Hey..
Im guessing that your settings is set to default for this to work..

-turn fone on.
-wait for a while to load up.
-press select button(middle).

There are two ways of doing this depending if your menu is set to grid or listing.Remembering is the key for it to work.

Grids:
-arrow down once
-select
-arrow up up once
-select
-select
-turn fone off after 5minutes and transfer to working fone.

List:
-arrow down 7 times
-select
-arrow up once
-select
-select
-turn fone off after 5minutes and transfer to working fone.

Hope this helps..

Dash screen will go white.

For me, the problem was definitely the ribbon connector between the graphics chip and LCD. The YouTube video below describes how to open the dash. You only need to open the device (i.e. no need to take out the printed circuit board) and then you should re-seat the ribbon cable in the lower left hand corner back onto the PCB. Hardest part was finding a #6 torx screwdriver.
