While the device is off hold the home button and the volume up button at the same time as the power button until a special menu appears you can then reset the phone to factory settings which will which may erase all your personal content but the phone will be as though you had just purchased it
The only thing you can do is to Hard Reset your smart phone. It will erase everything on your phone but hopefully you have everything saved to the cloud. You can plug it in to your itunes account and reset your phone. That is the only option you have unless you know the passcode.
