bosch dishwasher = machine on but no water, so the lower basin has water in it and because of it the FLOOD CONTROL SWITCH IS ON, so how do I drain the rest of the water so the FLOOD CONTROL SWITCH goes off? A plastic cover with a seal is stopping me from drain the water below?
If you can see the water use a shop vac if not you will have to pull the unit out and remove the left side panel after removeing the water you will need to find the leak that caused the bottom to fill with water

I found that by initially disconnecting the pipes and cleaning them out (without the usual success)......then taking the front door panel off (you need to carefully remove s/steel screws from inside which then release the white or outer door panel) i found an accumulation of 'gunk' inside. Clean all of this out, make sure that rubber surround seal is 'secure' and that all inner water carriers (to tablet flap) are leak-free......re-assemble....try it!....mine is now 'as good as new' (4 back-up washes done!). good luck (POWER OFF WHEN WORKING INSIDE DOOR...WIRES!!!!!!).
