Control Lock is on my front loader.

ok, you are in the model selection part of the service mode. for 6240 I believe the model code is 3 select this and press start. normally to release control lock press and hold small I button by start button.
if model selection in incorrect it can still be corrected. only difference in models is cycles matching the labels. you can tell by the time indication for each cycle if it doesnt look right then check book inside top cover
