SOURCE: jack lalanne juicer, 8 yrs.old model?

A general solution for most Jack Lalanne juicers.

Before removing the filter u must remove the steel blade , usually using a two pin tool provided; Then wiggle out the strainer basket. If u have not cleaned during ur previous use, there could be dried juice that needs softening wirh a damp cloth. Please go to Jack lalannes official site to get their phone no. , they will be happy to help u.

Pulp is building up, not ejecting properly

When juicing with the champion juicer take it slow. You need to hold down the tamper for three to five seconds in-between reloading the chute. Otherwise it will begin to back up through the chute and the juicer will begin to heat up. Happy juicing! LivingaHealthyandHappyLife.com

Why won't my Jack La lanne's come on and it's new never been on

If there is not a flaw in the product itself it could be a problem with assembly or that the locking bar is not locked in place properly. The juicer will not operate if the locking bar does not click in to place in to the grooves on both sides of the lid.

Jack LaLanne has several HowTo videos posted that would be worth reviewing:

http://www.powerjuicer.com/power-juicer-how-to-videos.php

You are also able to download a manual which includes illustrated assembly and disassembly instructions:

http://www.powerjuicer.com/power-juicer-manuals.php

If you are unable to lock the locking bar in place it suggests that some other component has not been installed in the correct position. Review the assembly instructions to make sure all pieces are properly positioned.

Thank you for using FixYa!

I have lost the jug bin of my juicer (where the fruit pulp goes) and am no longer able to use the product as I get waste every where. Could someone tell me where to get a new one from? I have a JE95B...

I really have no idea where to find a new one, but... I've got Jack Lalenne's Power Juicer, an older model, and I, too, have lost the jug bin. So, what I do, is use a plastic bag. I pull it over the whole opening through which the pulp comes out and add some scotch tape so it doesn't fall off. I'm pretty sure a paper bag could be used, as well. I know it doesn't answer your question, but it can be a temporary solution..!

My jack Lalanne juicer just suddenly stopped working.

Mine stopped working after only a few uses. It turns out that the safety microswitch button wasn't being depressed. The little button on the bottom of the pulp collector had broken off. (Image #1) I put a 1/4 inch piece of a shishkabob skewer in the hole before putting the pulp collector on. (image #2) It works fine now. It's still safe. The motor will not start unless the pulp collector (receptacle) is in place and locked in. Be sure to unplug the machine before doing this. 3717db6c-91bc-41ee-b452-1ed06578f280.jpgjack-lalanne-juicer-just-rgzqoe2q2f3mnxiw25vk3yhi-4-2.jpg
