Do you know where I can get the users guide and drivers for the Pixelink PX15na1-l1-eruc 15" LCD Touchscreen Monitor? I have gone to the Pixelink site which shows no reference anywhere resembling this model.

The problem is not at your monitor, it's on the VGA card; there are no drivers installed. Clarify me the brand / model of your VGA (or in case of embeded at the motherboard post the motherboard's brand / model) in order to try to locate and post you back the drivers for Windows 7.
Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

You have to install the nec driver for this monitor. I have the same monitor. Im looking for the driver now. There are 2 versions of this monitor with the same model # . You will need to find the driver to the touchscreen model.
Do have the 3M driver? If not you can go to their web sight and down load it. You'll need to know what touch card you have, Microtouch or Dynapro. The monitor will be marked hopefully or you could call tech support. Just google 3m touch screen drivers.
I have had the same problem with my dell touchscreen. This problem seems to happen with the newer driver software. I reinstalled the older 5.64 driver and actively touch the screen at start-up when I enter the windows password and it seems to work fine.
