How to change rear tire ?


Remove rear wheel with either a 15 mm or a 17 mm wrench. Take the tire off the wheel. If you are replacing a tire, reverse procedure. If you have a flat, replace inner tube, then reverse procedure

All are the same size ... they come in Right hand and Left hand ... dont try to change them. Left is as seen from the rider seat.

My Cranbrook bike makes a clanking noise when I pedal it.


You need to evaluate wuith your eyes and ears what moving parts are contacting other parts of the bike in an undesireable way. So, what moves when you pedal it? The crank and chain.

I am now on my second Cranbrook, the first one I had severe chain issues with and no amount of adjusting the back wheel would keep the chain on for more than 5 rotations. This one, affectionately dubbed...


If you take it out and bring it to the store they can see the size. Be aware the left one is left-hand threaded. Or peek at the pedal axle from the inside edge of the crankarm.
