Volume box?? first there was osd lockout box and then the menu box pop up and it went to volume and now the volume box wont go away

1. Replaced the Micro switchs.

2. press the menu switch 15 to 20 secunds.

SOURCE: Volume box keeps popping up on my Acer AL1711

This is a problem of menu switches.You need to replace switches.

SOURCE: Why does my Acer monitor display OSD LOCKOUT whenever I start up?

hold the power button for a few seconds it should say osd unlocked.... if that doesn't work unplug the monitor for a minute or so and plug it back in.. that should fix it

OSD Lockout in HP Monitors First restart the Computer. Then hold down the menu button for 30 seconds, the main menu appears, then exist the main menu, then remove power cable of the monitor, then hold down the power on button of the Monitor for 30 seconds, then plug the power cable to the monitor. The OSD Lockout problem set rights.

This message occurs when the Menu button on the front panel is pressed for more than 10 seconds. OSD lockout prevents the OSD menu from opening on the screen when a button is accidentally pressed.
NOTE: The button may be different and the procedure might vary on some monitors. Please check your monitor User Guide to find the exact procedure if this procedure does not work.

How do I remove 'OSD LOCKOUT' from my monitor/screen?


Try holding the power button or the menu button of the monitor for about 5 - 10 seconds. This should remove the OSD Lockout message. Consult your monitor's reference manual if you still have problems.

I have a w1907 HP monitor. It keeps displaying a small box in the middle of the screen that says osd lockout. I am still able to get online and use my computer normally except for this box in the middle of...

OSD lockout, monitor menu appears and changes input automatically


the menu button might be jammed, try pressing it long and releaseing it, sometimes that happens to me
