The First Years Baby Monitor Y7569 - one receiver just keeps beeping! Why? How can I fix this?

We have two of these monitors. One receiver works fine. The other receiver works but beeps constantly over the monitor itself and flashes the LED by the Signal icon. How can I resolve this beeping?

SOURCE: No signal to monitor / Beeping

Listen to the pattern of beeps, or look at the back of the computer to see the pattern of the diagnostic lights ( 4 lights just under the keyboard/mouse connectors) and check out this site to see what they mean:

SOURCE: no picture and desktop makes beeping sound

Base on the post codes this continuous beeping indicates a power problem. Atypically this is a power supply problem and it will need to be replaced.

First years baby monitor Y7569P

That is due to some sort of electrical flux within the monitor CRT tube

Since the CRT tube has a very high voltage operation it may happen

You may have noticed similar noise coming out of any ordinary Tubelight condensers

Hi I wonder if you can help me. I have the flatron L1918S monitor and it was working fine yesterday, however today when i turned on the pc, the monitor flashed the green light on and then goes into power...

When after power up the computer press num lock key if num lock led is flash on and off when you press num lock key then your cpu is working fine. But if it stay constant then open cpu cabinet cover then reconnect RAM memory and processor and it's fan pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes then reconnect it then check.Make sure motherboard is not ground with cabinet. If num lock led is on and off then when you power up the computer press F8 key 5 to 6 times so you can see safe mode and other menu then enter in "Enable vga mode" then go to display property ->settings change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok. then check. If everything are fine in cpu then your monitor need repairing. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

When turned on all i get is fans constantly running and nothing else was working fine up till then

Sometimes the best answers are the simplest. First, make sure the video monitor is switched ON, securely connected to the computer video port and the "brightness" control set to at least mid-point. Before focusing suspicion on the computer itself, try a different "known to be working" monitor AND CABLE. Failing all the above you should carefully observe a manual re-start of the computer noting the presence or absence of 1.) pilot or drive indicator lights on or flashing, 2.) A beep tone or series of beeps emanating from the computer ( one beep is good - more than one is an indication of trouble requiring a technician ). 3.) Fan(s) running. If you have lights, fans, and a beep but no video, ( not even a blinking cursor in the upper left of the screen ), replace the video or graphics card in the P.C. with one known to be working. This should solve the problem.

Seems "desynchronized," beeping constantly, doesn't seem to work anymore

Reset the unit, (page 21 in the manual.) If you are missing the manual... Put the receiver next to the transmitter. Turn the receiver off then on again While holding the volume button on the receiver hold down the pager button on the transmitter. Do this until it beeps
That's what the manual said, I had to try it several times before it worked. I'm not exactly sure what I did the last time (maybe held it down longer or pushed it repeatedly), but it made a different beeping sound than the first times and suddenly it started working again.

Sir Help me with my Compaq monitor MV520 it won't turn the power led flashing orange to green continously

it could be th epower supply and it could be the monitor.
power ON button should not flash orange regardless what you do. it should stay green. then orange. not orange to green to orange.
try the monitor on another PC if you can fine one.
the other thing is are the 2 monitor similar (CRT to CRT and LCD to LCD), you can't mix the the two, they will work but need different video driver to function correctly.

Hello, find the BIOS Beep Codes at http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html and try to find your problem. It is not a software or Monitor problem. It could be RAM or Video Card failure
