Built up grease in oven

I have built up grease in my oven... it is a advantium 120 and I use this every day as both a microwave and a convection oven... but I can't get the built up grease off of it .... HELP.... nothing I have used works. Suggestions

I've found the best way to get grease to loosen up in any oven is to place a glass or coffee cup of undiluted ammonia in the oven overnight. The ammonia vapors attack the grease, softening it. The next day:

  1. remove the ammonia
  2. mix it with a 2 cups of water
  3. wear protective gloves
  4. using a non-abrasive cloth or sponge wipe the grease off the surfaces.
  5. switch to clean water only, wipe the oven one last time to remove the ammonia residue left by the cleaning.

Eay Off oven spray. Just spray it on and wait about 15 minutes. Then wipe off the grease with a bounty! It's that essy!

I have had an Advantium for about 3 or 4 yrs and would use nothing else! When this one wears out I will buy another one! I hardly ever use my regular oven any more! Hope this helps.
