Cant get the optical mouse to work on my laptop.

I want to know how to set up the mouse so it can be used on a laptop. It is the model LM3150. Just wondering what buttons to push on the mouse to get it in sync with the computer.

Usually a mouse is all plug and play, once you put it in you can use it immediately. If its a wireless mouse you have to install a driver(cd allong with the mouse when you bought it) if its not supported by your Operating System.

On some computers, the mouse will work as soon as it is plugged in, while on others you'll need to manually set the connection. To do this, plug the USB receiver into the computer, then press the Connect button on the receiver. Once the lights start flashing, press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. (Make sure the mouse is turned on first.) It should now make the connection.

Hope that helps!

My microsoft optical mouse isnt working on my lap top the red light is not working anymore so i cant get on my laptop so how do i fix it?

Replace worn out batteries in it. If that isnt the problem then access the BIOS screen by booting laptop up and pressing DEL key, search for setting that lists infra red laptop pad, enable and save / /reboot.
