a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Check the driver properties and make sure it is not turning off when idle. You could have router issues. Are you using a wireless router of your own? Are you putting in the password for the connection. I could go on and on about wireless problems. Wireless does not just pull the Internet out of the AIR like some people think. Get someone to help you that can use wireless and compare settings.

So u can connect to the router, but you arent allowet to access the internet?
The router gave your dell a new ip-number, but it dident gave you access to the net. You ned to do the settings in your router manual, let the router give your dell full access.

It may have come loose in the slot. On most Dell laptops, the wireless car is located on the bottom of the laptop. There will be a small square cover secured by one screw. Remove the screw and plate to see the card. There will be two wires connected to the card. These are the antennas. There will also be two retaining clips, one on each side. Release the clips and the card will pop up on one end. The opposite end will be in the slot. Pull it out and then re-seat it firmly in the slot. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw. Turn on the laptop and see if the card is identified.
Good luck, and please let me know how this works out for you.

try re-installing the drivers of these....if that does not work
device manager/network adaptor/ur netwrokd card/properties/resources
check if that has any 'Conflicting Devices"
check if the IRQ # is not frozen
under the General Tab check if the Device Status is working properly etc
