SOURCE: Does the Card Reader recognize and read SDHD cards

check the spec of your card reader if it can support to your new card, if not you upgrade your card reader.

SOURCE: sd reader does not read the card

Does it recognize any other cards? If not the reader has gone bad. You can replace it with a reader that plugs into the usb port from any computer shop for less than $20.

My computer doesn't read my Sony Camera, where can i get a driver?

If you have a card reader, take the card out of the camera and use the card reader. (Be careful not to set the switch to the write protection side if you want to delete any pictures.)

Make sure that your OS has the drivers for the camera. (The correct driver is included with XP, Vista and Win7 above the Starter Edition.) You may want to try uninstalling the driver (with the camera not connected to the computer). Then connect the camera and let the driver reinstall.http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=DSCW180 has the details on the OS support.

If you still have a problem, get a card reader that supports Memory Stick or Memory Stick Pro . If the card still doesn't work, it may have failed or the camera didn't correctly format and write to the card.

hopefully it can help..........

My computer cant not find drivers for a Technika Photo Camera, I wishto download some pics from my camera

Then you need to either attach the camera via a USB lead, or take the memory card out of the camera and plug it into a card reader

These are the only Technika downloads

Trying to use a SD card in the I drive of my Song VGC-RA810G and all it says is I/O device error. Tried updating drivers didnt work.

download and install this driver for the card reader...I suspect that the driver was corrupted or not installed at all at the last re-installation It is the original driver for windows xp..and it should work ..
Also veryfy the card in another device to be sure that it is working .,...if it still makes trouble and you do not have data on it that needs keeping ,,format it into the reader after you install the driver ..

I Have a Technika SH-C350 Digital camera.Every time I switch it on all I get on the screen is Media Error.I cannot take any pictures.

Have you formatted the card in the camera? Download any pictures from it first using a card reader if necessary because formatting will erase it.

Card reader /writer installation

Assuming that your PC is running of Window XP it should recognize it..if not you may need to download driver for your card reader..(look who's the manufacture and go to its website).

But first, click on "My Computer" look to see if a "Removable Disk" exist on your desktop. If there is one, most likely your pictures are inside. Also make sure your memory card is not LOCK.
