I JUST had the same problem and spent 6 hours with tech support.
Click the wifi button on the bottom right and then when it\'s loaded, click Fn & F5 at the same time. A pop up should show up. By wifi click ON.

Why battery life in my bluetooth mouse is only 1 month ?

Bluetooth is a transmitter of radio signals and can drain batteries if left on. The mouse's auto shut off may not be working.
When not moving it usually turns off.
Are you still under Warranty?

New battery rebuilt alternator both test good all connections are good and still drains battery with all stock parts have had least ten different alternator on it. They might work for a year they might not...

HI. Here is a procedure I use to isolate a battery drain. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery. Using a 12-volt test light, hook one end to the negative battery post the other end to the negative battery cable you just disconnected. The test light will glow or "light" if there is a drain. If the "light or glow" is faint, that is probably normal draw for the clock or computer. If the "light or glow" is bright, this will indicate a large drain is present. That should be corrected, asap. Now start removing and replacing the fuses one by one until the light goes out; The one fuse that causes the light to shut off, will be the circuit with the drain. Remember to close the car doors, when testing. If not, the interior doom light will interfere with the results of the test...

My logitech wireless mouse Light doesn;t stay on so I forget to turn it off thus battery will run out fast lighthouse_jmk@yahoo.com

The reason that the light does not stay on is that it only comes on to let you know that the battery is good it stays on about ten seconds, then goes into a sleep mode in order to save the battery. This happens after it does not sense motion. Since it has to transmit the motion to the receiver, this also saves battery. The only power is a small parasitic drain to the led under the bottom. The battery should last about 3 months even if you do not turn the mouse off. Of course it is better to turn the mouse off when not in use, but the small cost of a double A battery is not commensurate with the effort to remember to turn the device off.

Power drain would be a better solution in this case.
1.first shut down the comp
2.unplug the charger
3. remove the battery
and after press and hold the power button for 60 seconds without any charger and the battery. After the 60 seconds replug the battery and the charger and turn the computer

Shoukd the mouse be turned off after I use it? Why doesnt the light stay on?

it is recomended to turn of the mouse after use else the battery will drain, the light will not stay on as it has sensors to detect the movement which signals the reciever attached to the system & will work when the mouse is moved

Red light always on

The red light will go off when you unplug the receiver from the USB and place it back at the bottom of the mouse, otherwise when you turn off computer, put a piece of adhesive tape to hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse. Good luck!!! Chawah.
