Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I lost my security code when I changed my car battery. How do I reset it?? I purchased the car used 5 years ago.

Hello there... well I have this bit of information for you from the Kenwood MP528 manual...

When the Security Code function is activated, the code
can’t be changed and the function can’t be released.
Note, the Security Code can be set as the 4 digit number
of your choice

That's from Page 23 of this manual(which does apply to your model):

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/File/Global/Consumer/Manuals/KDCX589.pdf

At this point I'm not certain about what options you may have...

Ive lost my router wireless security key

Goto any pc on your network and look for your gateway IP address. Once you have this you may type it into a browser. You will be prompted to enter your user name and password for this device. Once you get in you can click wirelss tab and goto security. There you should see all your wireless keys. If you can not access the unit please reset your router back to factory at what point you will then need to create a new key and associated that with all your wireless network devices.

Hey, Mine did the same thing, this is what I did. I entered "0000" for the pin and was able to reset the unit (0000 is the factory default) It may not work for you, but it's worth a try.

You may download it on the Dlink's download site. You may go to this link and select the correct model number and revision of your router.

Just download the Quick Router Setup.

You may also manually configure the wireless security of the router. The instructions is posted on Dlink's Knowledge Base.

Just select the model number of your router and click GO. Then click on Wireless Encryption and select the type of encryption you want to configure on the router.
