Question about Dryers
Hi button woks at medium speed medium works at low speed low is really slow how do I fix that
If the fan has a pull chain then push the Hi button and then pull the chain until it's on high. Then don't pull the chain! If that's not your problem then check the capacitor in the fan.

I'ts not a transformer, it's a capicator and could be bad. call Harbor breeze with model (on top of motor assy) and they can sell you the correct one.

SOURCE: Fan runs slower. Hi
hi this is how are you going to fix the problem first turn off the supply if their is a breaker shut down for safety then unscrew all the screw at the base to detach support at the ceiling you need someone to hold the assembly and then pull down. now you need to apply first with lubricating oil to the metal shafting it might be sticky of the drive motor for smooth rotation you need also to replace the starting capacitor connected to the line going to the drive motor.you can inquire parts at www.digikey.com like capacitor just replaced with same voltage and capacitance indicated. after you clean, apply oil and replaced with new starting capacitor the right speed rotation will be back. thanks hope it will help you good luck.
