Audio Boost disabling?

Hi,I have activated AUDIOBOOST on my cellphone a wik back and after that the earpice speaker is not ok>Is it possible to reverse the situatuion? Please help

How do I activate


Cellphone?? If so there is a IMEI number its registered to which ever company it was originally under. The only possible way would be to unlock cellphone, if possible aka Jailbreak, and register under a different cellphone company. That "Serial IMEI" is no longer valid under the cellphone company which your friend had "aquired" the cellphone from originally.

To disable internal speaker in hp6000 pc


The internal speaker should be disabled when you plug in external speakers.
If not go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices
> Pick a task.......>Change the speaker settings >Audio tab.

[ Note* An internal speaker can be used for the BIOS Beep Codes. If it is this speaker should not be disabled.
BIOS Beep Codes are the way the computer tells you something is wrong, and an area to look into, for it ]

I have a acer 1360 and i have encountered a problem with sound, which i never had before, there is no sound from the computer or ear phones, or speakers, can you guide me to fix the problem, thanks


The pivotal action in trying to isolate and diagnose the specific cause of any computer fault is to think back to when the computer was working normally and then list any hardware, software or settings changes between that time and when the fault you are experiencing first appeared.

Audio problems are often simple settings problems. Before you try anything else think if you have connected any new device or installed or used any new software on the computer that is Audio-related (such as a cellphone, an MP3/MP4/MP5 player, a bluetooth device, a microphone, a Voice Over Internet Protocol [VOIP] Headset or multiplexing device, a dial-up modem or dial-up modem based transaction or stock keeping or postal franking device, a multimedia player, a speech recognition program, media playing software, fax/phone software, etc., etc. Any of these sorts of devices or software are capable of changing a computer's default audio settings.


Reset the audio to the correct default device - start -> control panel -> sounds speech and audio devices/hardware and sounds -> audio -> select main audio on-board chip or sound card from the Playback Device drop down menu or the panel of different device options -> apply -> OK -> restart computer.


Often this is all that needs to be done to restore audio that has been disabled by settings changes.



If not then turn your mind to a possible Audio/sound Driver conflict, corruption or deletion.
Uninstall all components of the installed Audio/Sound Driver from Add or Remove Programs/ Uninstall a Program or its equivalent in your Operating System - > restart the computer -> reinstall the Audio/Sound Driver from the Drivers and Utilities Installation Disc or download, save (so as to create and keep on the computer the Sound/Audio Driver Setup Files in case of future Sound/Audio Driver problems) and install it from the Support and Download pages of the Acer website -> restart the computer.

You have not mentioned which operating system you are using.

You might have changed the defaul audio settings.

Vista/Windows 7: Start > Cxontrol Panel > Sounds & Audio Devices > Hardware & Sound > Manage Audio Devices > highlight the external speakers from the list of devices > Set Default > Apply > OK > Restart computer.

Win XP: Start > Cxontrol Panel > Sounds Speech & Audio Devices > Hardware & Sound > Change the Speaker Settings > Advanced > Speaker Setup - select Internal Stereo Speakers > Apply > OK > Restart computer.

Just to make sure desktops almost never have built in speakers.
1. Check that your speakers work. Try them with an MP3 player or other device to make sure they work.
2. Check that the speaker is plugged in the right socket. Play something on computer and switch around the plug.
3. In windows press START->Control Panel->System->Device manager.
Right click on Sound device and write down the make (Company and a model number).
4a. Google their website and go to support->downloads/drivers and download the appropriate driver.
4b. If its an INTEL sound device you might have to look up the motherboard as it might be bundled with the motherboard driver.

GREEN - "line out" --> speakers with their own amplifier to boost the sound-level

BLUE - "line in" --> connect to "L/R audio output" from a cassette player

RED - "microphone input" --> microphone

Hi,

Please do these settings and try,
Go to Start > Control Panel > Sound > Speakers/Headphones > Enhancements Tab
Now Tick the "Loudness Equalization" -> Apply / OK

Also tick the "Bass Boost and Low Frequency Protection" plus the "Virtual Sound".
This will make it better. Thanks.

No sound from external speakers with toshiba dynadock


if using XP, go to start control panel , sound and audio devices.Under the audio tab make sure the C Media CM106 sound device is selected under sound playback. Then under the volume tab set the volume somewhere in the middle or at the top if you don;t have active speakers . Then Under Speaker settings advanced, make sure the speaker setup is set to Laptop Stereo speakers. Also make sure the speaker volumes are up on the speaker volume button. click ok. If no result check that the cm106 sound decvice was cemented in as I saw it dissaper when I thought i had slected it. I think the key thing here is the device and the laptop speakers setting.
