Question about Logitech Computers & Internet

Left click too sensitive

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 with a Logitech optical mouse. Recently the mouse seems to have become more sensitive, I DO NOT mean speed of movement. When I left click on something, if the pointer moves even one pixel between press and release the thing won't work. I recall a setting somewhere that allowed adjustment of the area within which the pointer would work and it seems something has changed this to maybe 1 x 1 pixel. I would like to change it to, say, 5 x 5 pixels to allow for any slight movement between press and release. Where can I find this setting? Mouse SPEED is OK and Enhance Pointer Precision is UNchecked. Thanks for your help.

Open the start menu and type mouse and it will be the first option

  • I opened the start menu, clicked 'Advanced' to get to the only place where anything can be typed. It asks for the location of the item, typing 'mouse' does nothing.

  • I opened the start menu, clicked 'Add' (to get to the only place where anything can be typed). It asks for the location of the item, typing 'mouse' does nothing. Jul 18, 2013

Cursor is jumping all over the screen before you can point at what you need - Dell D620 - Windows xp pro

Firstly try a different mouse to find out if the mouse is the issue - If so a new mouse is probably needed (assuming you cleaned the trackball/laser - video instructions can be found below)
If the mouse is not the issue, then enter mouse settings on Windows XP, and try adjusting the sensitivity etc. This can be done by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse and adjusting "Pointer Options"
If this fails, try downloading drivers for the mouse (assuming it is optical).

I need a driver for the logitech M-RM67A cordless optical mouse

I have a M-RM67A transmitter. The date on the actual driver for Logitech is 7/11/2003, v9.79.0.0 (as seen in Device Manager)
If you search for mouse M-RM63 on the Logitech web site, you can download v9.79.1. That may be good enough. Another mouse may have v9.79.3.

For years my RM67A did not seem to work. So I followed these instructions, and it works now.

If you are still stuck, reply here and I’ll find some way to get you my driver.

have you changed mousing surfaces?
sometimes a glossy or irregular mousepad can cause this, as the laser bounces at odd angles back into the mouse.

Also, check under Control Panel > Mouse > and the configuration for the mouse that the drivers give you. there might be a sensitivity slider as well.

Logitech V320 cordless optical mouse-work with Win ME?

No, the drivers will only support windows XP at the lowest.

But windows ME will support a standard serial mouse, which are still available, the drivers are already installed.

My Logitech LX5 wireless optical mouse has never worked properly

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend try my gathered solutions. This problem has a simple solution—replace your batteries! Low batteries in a wireless device will cause all sorts of problems. In a mouse, this typically means that the cursor slows down, jerks around, or seems to hit an invisible wall. Fresh batteries should fix things right up.
If new batteries don't fix the problem, you have some sort of wireless interference. Try moving the wireless receiver to a new position—preferably away from other wireless devices (wireless network adapters/base stations, cordless phones, baby monitors, and the like). If interference continues, see if you can change transmitting/receiving channels on one of the devices, or consider turning off the interfering device while you're computing. Good luck friend hope i helped you.
